and man (Luke 2:51,52).
Jesus walked the road to Jordan to be baptized
in water; and immediately afterward,
He was baptized in the Holy Ghost. Then
cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto
John, to be baptized of him. And Jesus,
when he was baptized, went up straightway
out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were
opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of
God descending like a dove, and lighting
upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying,
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am
well pleased (Matthew 3:13,16,17). You too
must be baptized in the Holy Ghost.
Jesus walked into the wilderness and fasted
forty days and nights. Then was Jesus led
up of the spirit into the wilderness to be
tempted of the devil. And when he had
fasted forty days and forty nights, he was
afterward an hungered (Matthew 4:1,2).
Because Jesus fasted, we must fast. He said,
This kind goeth not out but by prayer and
fasting (Matthew 17:21).
Jesus walked roads of sorrow, opposition
and rejection. He walked the lonely, agonizing
road to the Garden of Gethsemane, and
then all of His disciples ran in fear. Then all
the disciples forsook him Jesus, and fled
(Matthew 26:56). Jesus then walked the tortuous
road to Calvary’s hill to die on the Cross.
Most people thought He would never walk
again, but He did.
Jesus Brought New Life
Because of Christ’s great
sacrifice, you must choose
to bury the old, sinful man
and let Him raise you up
to walk in newness of life.
Therefore we are buried
with him by baptism into
death: that like as Christ
was raised up from the
dead by the glory of the
Father, even so we also
should walk in newness
of life (Romans 6:4).
Jesus said, I am the resurrection,
and the life:
(Cont’d on page 6)
walk the streets of gold where the Lamb, Jesus,
is the light. And the city had no need of the
sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for
the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb
is the light thereof. And the gates of it shall
not be shut at all by day: for there shall be
no night or evil there (Revelation 21:23,25).
Jesus brought comfort and peace to the brokenhearted
through the power of the Holy
Ghost. But the Comforter, which is the Holy
Ghost, whom the Father will send in my
name, he shall teach you all things, and bring
all things to your remembrance, whatsoever
I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give unto you: not as the world
giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart
be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John
14:26,27).
Jesus brought everything we need to become
a part of His family. But as many as received
him, to them gave he Jesus power to
become the sons or daughters of God, even
to them that believe on his name (John 1:12).
As a son or daughter of God, your hands,
eyes, ears and feet must be His. Then you can
walk as Jesus walked and have the same victories
He had. Paul knew that when he said, I
am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live;
yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the
life which I now live in the flesh I live by the
faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and
gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).
Walk like Jesus
Jesus walked on Earth as a
man to show us how to walk.
He grew up being in subjection
to His Earth parents
just as children are to be
today, but He also served
His heavenly Father. And
he Jesus went down
with them Mary and
Joseph, and came to
Nazareth, and was subject
unto them...And
Jesus increased in wisdom
and stature, and
in favour with God
