Rejoice over Souls
When a soul becomes born again, the angels
in Heaven celebrate. Likewise, I say unto
you, there is joy in the presence of the
angels of God over one sinner that repenteth
(Luke 15:10). The prodigal son’s father
was very happy he had returned home, but not
everybody was. The older son resented the fact
that his father had received his brother back
and was celebrating. The father tried to reason
with that son by saying, It was meet that we
should make merry, and be glad: for this
thy brother was dead, and is alive again;
and was lost, and is found (Luke 15:32). The
younger son was resurrected from a life of sin
to a life full of love and grace. He was no longer
lost and wandering aimlessly in this dark
world of sin.
Jesus conquered death, hell and the grave for
us; and it is through the blood of Jesus and the
Resurrection power that you can be made a
brand-new creature in Christ. Therefore if any
man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things
are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).
Jesus Was Resurrected
On the third day after Jesus had been
crucified, He was resurrected. A great
earthquake shook the place, and an angel
rolled back the stone from the entrance of
the tomb. Then Jesus walked out. He was
raised from the dead through the Resurrection
power in His life.
Jesus had told people earlier, Destroy
this temple His body, and in three
days I will raise it up (John 2:19).
The sad thing is that people did not
believe in the Resurrection power, and
that is because they were using man’s
LORD looketh on the heart (I Samuel 16:7).
When the prodigal son was on his way home,
his father saw him when he was still a far way
off. Why?—because his father had never
given up hope of his son returning, so he was
always watching for him. The Bible says, His
father saw him, and had compassion, and
ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him
(Luke 15:20).
All the father wanted to do was show his
son love. When his son confessed that he had
sinned against his father and Heaven, the father
was quick to forgive him just like our heavenly

Forty years ago, I was stricken with a
strange ailment identified as a rare form
of Myasthenia Gravis. I was given a short
time to live—three weeks to three months.
My mother sought out and traveled to one
of your services. She prayed with Rev.
Angley for me because I was too far away
to be taken to meet him. I’m still alive,
and I’m so grateful to God for my life.
Thank You!
