is with him: for
there be more with
us than with him:
With him is an arm
of flesh; but with
us is the LORD our
God to help us, and
to fight our battles
(II Chronicles 32:7,8).
The children of
Israel listened and
dared to be different,
and God delivered
them. Thus the LORD
saved Hezekiah and
the inhabitants of Jerusalem
from the hand of
Sennacherib the king of
Assyria, and from the hand
of all other, and guided them
on every side (II Chronicles 32:22).
You too have to dare to be different in this
last hour. You must be courageous and seek to
do everything the Lord wants you to without
compromise.
Never Compromise
The three Hebrew boys dared to be different
when they refused to bow down and worship
the golden image. The message sent out to all
was, Whoso falleth not down and worshippeth
shall the same hour be cast into the
midst of a burning fiery furnace (Daniel 3:6).
But the boys refused to compromise saying, Be
it known unto thee, O king, that we will not
serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image
which thou hast set up (Daniel 3:18).
King Nebuchadnezzar got so mad that he
heated the furnace seven times hotter than ever
before and threw them in, but God was with
them. Not only did they not burn, they didn’t
even smell like smoke. And the princes, governors,
and captains, and the king’s counsellors,
being gathered together, saw these men,
upon whose bodies the fire had no power,
nor was an hair of their head singed,
neither were their coats changed,
nor the smell of fire had passed
on them (Daniel 3:27).
Are you willing
to separate from
the world and dare
to be different?
The Bible says,
Wherefore come
out from among
them, and be ye
separate, saith the
Lord, and touch
not the unclean
thing; and I will
receive you, And will
be a Father unto you,
and ye shall be my
sons and daughters,
saith the Lord Almighty
(II Corinthians 6:17,18).
You must never conform to
the world in any way, and never
justify yourself for doing anything
against God. And be not conformed to this
world: but be ye transformed by the renewing
of your mind, that ye may prove what is
that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will
of God (Romans 12:2). You are only justified in
the eyes of God through the blood of the Lamb.
Some people think that if they act like the
world, they can win the world; but that is deceit.
The devil blinds people’s minds to the truth, so
why would you want to mix and mingle with
the wrong people and open your mind to the
devil? In whom the god of this world the
devil hath blinded the minds of them which
believe not, lest the light of the glorious
gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,
should shine unto them (II Corinthians 4:4).
Divine Protection
The Old Testament tells us about people who
dared to be different. At one time, the King of
Assyria and his army were going against King
Hezekiah and the children of Israel. The King
of Assyria wanted the Israelites to give up their
God and to worship idols like the Assyrians;
but Hezekiah told the people, Be strong
and courageous, be not afraid nor
dismayed for the king of Assyria,
nor for all the multitude that
