Then you will become dissatisfied,
and you won’t
make the decisions
God would have you to
make.
Think on the Truth
When your human mind operates
on its own, it cannot receive the things of the
Spirit; so it believes only what it sees, hears
and feels. However, you can’t keep your mind
stayed on things that are not full of truth and
expect to have perfect peace. Your thoughts
must be brought into captivity to all that is in
agreement with Christ. Casting down imaginations,
and every high thing that exalteth
itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5).
Many battles of the mind are caused by false
imaginations; but when you bring those imaginations
into captivity according to truth, the
battles will disappear.
Only truth brings peace.
If you want Bible peace, you have to think
on Bible truth. For as he thinketh in his
heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7). That is why
it is so important for you to study, learn and
understand truth. Bible truth tears down
all that is false, brings about miracles
and healings and gives you
divine peace, joy and gladness.
When you know the truth
and believe it, it will make
you free. Jesus said, And ye
shall know the truth, and
the truth shall make you
free (John 8:32). Freedom
in the Lord brings perfect
peace.
Jesus came and made it
possible for all of us to have
perfect trust in divinity. Trust in
the LORD with all thine heart; and
lean not unto thine own
understanding. In all
thy ways acknowledge
him, and he shall direct
thy paths (Proverbs 3:5,6).
Some of you claim to be
trusting in God with all of your
heart when you are really leaning to your
own foggy understanding. That is why your
view of the Lord and your path are not clear,
and that allows the storm to get inside of you
through your mind. Once there, the storm
rages; and you can’t get rid of it. That is why
Jesus said, Peace, be still (Mark 4:39).
Yield to the Spirit of Truth
When you have the Holy Spirit in you, He
will feed you perfect peace through the blood
in your soul. He will also give you peace in
your mind when you fill it with what is in the
Word because the Bible is filled with words of
love, life, grace and peace...words of everything
good and nothing bad.
Child of God, as long as your life matches
the pages of the Bible, you have all the help
you need in all areas of your life; but you have
to use it.
My son, forget not my law the Word;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee (Proverbs
3:1,2).
The Word will let you see yourself as
God sees you, if you will yield to it.
For the word of God is quick, and
powerful, and sharper than
any twoedged sword, piercing
even to the dividing asunder
of soul and spirit, and of the
joints and marrow, and is
a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart
(Hebrews 4:12).
Know God’s thoughts and be
able to separate His thoughts
from your thoughts. You can discern
them through the Word and
through the Holy Ghost. He is the Spirit
